No complaints and no regrets I still believe in chasing dreams and placing bets But I had learn that all you give is all you get So give it all you got I had my share I drank my fill And even though I'm satisfied I'm hungry still To see what's down another road beyond the hill And do it all again So here's to life And every joy it brings So here's to life To dreamers and their dreams Funny how the time just flies How love can go from warm hellos To sad goodbyes And leave you with the memories you've memorized To keep your winters warm For there's no yes in yesterday And who knows what tomorrow brings or takes away As long as I'm still in the game I want to play For laughs for life for love So here's to life And every joy it brings Here's to life For dreamers and their dreams May all your storms be weathered And all that's good get better Here's to life Here's to love Here's to you May all your storms be weathered And all that's good get better Here's to life Here's to love Here's to you

Every day, every day, I have the blues Every day, every day, I have the blues When you see me worry, baby Because it's you I hate to lose Yes, nobody loves me, nobody seems to care Oh, nobody loves me, nobody seems to care Big enough bad luck and trouble Well, you know I've had my share I'm gonna pack my suitcase, move on down the line Yes, I'm gonna pack my suitcase, move on down the line Where there ain't nobody worryin' And there ain't nobody cryin' Seems to me every day Every day, every day, I have the blues Every day, every day Every day, every day, I have the blues Well, you see me worryin', baby It's you I hate to lose And nobody loves me, nobody seems to care Yeah, nobody loves me, nobody seems to care Big enough bad luck and trouble Baby, you know I've had my share I'm gonna pack my suitcase, move on down the line I'm gonna pack my suitcase, move on down the line Oh, there ain't nobody worryin' And there ain't nobody cryin' Seems to me every day I have the blues, I have the blues Every day, every day I have the blues, I have the blues Every day, well, you see me worryin', baby It's you I hate to lose Every day, every day, every day, every day, I have the blues Oh, every day, every day, I have the blues When you see me worryin', baby Baby, it's you I hate to lose

Object of My Affection The object of my affection Can change my complexion From white to a rosy red Anytime he holds my hand And tells me that he's mine There are many boys who can thrill me And some who can chill me But I'll just hang around And keep acting like a clown Until he says he's mine Now I'm not afraid that he'll leave me He's not the kind who takes a dare But instead I trust him implicitly He can go where he wants to go Do what he wants to do, I sure don't care Oh, the object of my affection Can change my complexion From white to a rosy red Anytime he holds my hand And tells me that he's mine The object of my affection Can change my complexion From white to a rosy red Anytime he holds my hand And tells me that he's mine, all mine How High the Moon Somewhere there's music How faint the tune Somewhere there's heaven How high the moon There is no moon above When love is far away too Until it comes true That you love me as I love you Somewhere there's music How near, how far Somewhere there's heaven It's where you are The darkest night would shine If you would come to me soon Until you will, how still my heart How high the moon Ahh Somewhere there's music How faint the tune Somewhere there's heaven How high the moon The darkest night would shine If you would come to me soon Until you will, how still my heart How high the moon Stompin at the Savoy Savoy, the home of sweet romance, Savoy, it wins you with a glance, Savoy, gives happy feet a chance to dance. Your old form just like a clinging vine, Your lips so warm and sweet as wine, Your cheek so soft and close to mine, divine. How my heart is singing, While the band is swinging, I'm never tired of romping, And stomping with you at the Savoy. What joy - a perfect holiday, Savoy, where we can glide and sway, Savoy, let me stomp away with you; The home of sweet romance, It wins you at a glance, Gives happy feet a chance to dance. Just like a clinging vine, So soft and sweet as wine, So soft and close to mine, divine. How my heart is singing, While the band is swinging, I'm never, never, never tired of romping, And stomping with you at the Savoy. What joy - a perfect holiday, Savoy, where we can glide and sway, Savoy, let me stomp away with you; A Tisket, A Tasket A-tisket, a-tasket A green and yellow basket I send a letter to my mommy On the way I dropped it I dropped it, I dropped it Yes, on the way I dropped it A little girlie picked it up And put it in her pocket She was truckin' on down the avenue Without a single thing to do She went peck, peck, peckin' all around When she spied it on the ground A tisket, a tasket, A green and yellow basket And if she doesn't bring it back I think that I will die Was it red? No, no, no, no Was it brown? No, no, no, no Was it blue? No, no, no, no Just a green and yellow basket Doodle-oot, Doodle-oot, Doodle-oot, Doodle-oot Doodle-oot, Doodle-oot, doot Green and yellow Green and yellow Fine and mellow Doot doo doodle-oot doot Ah! Lady Be Good Oh, sweet and lovely lady, be good Oh, lady, be good to me I am so awfully misunderstood So lady, be good to me Oh, please have some pity I'm all-alone in this big city I tell you I'm just a lonesome babe in the wood, So lady be good to me. Oh, please have some pity I'm all alone in this big city I tell you I'm just a lonesome babe in the wood, So lady be good to me. Oh lady be good to me.

about

Their 30th Anniversary is celebrated on their latest endeavor The DIVA Jazz Orchestra “30.” Sherrie Maricle explains, “To celebrate and capture this noteworthy milestone I wanted to do a “live” recording (there’s nothing like it!) in a place I love, and I love Dizzy’s Club. We’ve played there every year since they opened, and it feels like home. Selecting the music was a formidable challenge, but I decided to feature both band and fan favorites; some we’ve recorded before, and others we have not, but each arrangement is a treasured staple of our music library. Since we’ve been blessed to share the stage with many of music’s most iconic jazz vocalists (leading to some of our most memorable performances), I wanted to honor that part of our history, so I invited vocalist Sue Giles to join us in tribute to those remarkable collaborations. A wholehearted thank you to the creative and brilliant members of DIVA; the soulful Sue Giles; Jazz at Lincoln Center; Dizzy’s Club and everyone behind the scenes who helped lift us to new artistic heights. The DIVA Jazz Orchestra will continue to blaze our own trail and “swing it forward” for generations to come. Thank you for listening!”
